Dear Former Camper or Friend of the Caddy Camps,

Our Reunion/Summit was very successful; there was lots of laughter and fun.  There were also many stories; some may have even been true.

In all, we think we saw and talked with about 50 to 60 former campers and friends of the camps.  Twenty four played in the September 12, 2015 SCRAMBLE won by the team Gerard, Michael and John Daly and their brother-in-law Don Lake. Second place found the team of Guy Battista, Gerry Brandi, Tony Wozniak and Peter Xeller edging out, comparison of back nine, Len Musto, John Musto, Paul Musto and Chris Musto.

Winner of the longest drive, Bobby Caggiano, was thought to measure about 300 yards followed by extraordinary shots by all four team members

Winners to the closest to the hole awards were Paul Antonino (#8), John Musto (#11), Tony Wozniak (#12) and Gerard Daly (#18). All of the above received pro shop gift certificates for their 9/12 achievements.

Major winner for the 50/50 was Tony (Lumberman) Lombardozzi, nearly $900.00 which we all witnessed went immediately to Joyce, his wife. The sporting event winners were won:

Of special significance were the afternoon visits by Mary Jane Dexter and Bobby Baldassari, former Maplewood Caddy Master and PGA Golf Professional.  Accompanying Bobby Senior was Bobby Baldassari Junior, also a PGA Professional who works at PGA National in Florida. Both Baldassaris also joined us for the buffet held in the Maplewood Grill Room.

The highlight of the day was the awarding of the 2015 Caddy of the Year to Gerard Daly. Gerard is the current club manager at East Longmeadow Country Club.

Gerard was amazingly helpful in the Reunion/Summit by obtaining golf donations for foursomes from:

and Wianno

Auction winners for above included:

The Ferncroft Country Club and Maplewood Country Club also donated rounds of golf for foursomes.

and James Daly, OH  72-75

Each of these clubs donated days of golf for a foursome at their respective clubs.

Along with Carl Ameno, Gerard also took many pictures of the Reunion/ Summit activities as well as donating wonderful photos of Augusta Country Club and St. Andrews.

Congratulations to all of the above winners as well as to those who were able to attend some of the 2015 Reunion/Summit.
